About the inn
The Everest Inn is one of Wausau's landmark Queen Anne homes. It's located in the heart of the Andrew Warren Historic District.
Built in 1908 by John Farrell, its style is late Queen Anne. D.C. Everest and his wife Rita purchased the home in 1914 and lived here until 1926.
You will feel the nostalgia as you enter our home with its unique dual wrap-around porch. The home is furnished with many antiques and family heirlooms. We take pride in giving guests personal attention.
Guest rooms are large, bright and spacious. In the morning awaken to the smell of coffee brewing and pastries baking. Evening snacks are served. It's an ideal location for family reunions.
